We host a series of social events during the season:
Annual Dinner
This is a black tie event held at a venue in central London on the evening of the Long Distance Handicap in February or March
Summer Wine Party
The Summer Wine Party is held in the Wimbledon area on the evening of the Midsummer Handicap and Summer Sports in June
Outlying Run
This is usually held in May and consists of an afternoon run, followed by tea and an informal evening dinner and overnight accommodation at a venue away from south-west London usually somewhere in south-east England. The weekend is typically rounded off with a Sunday morning run or walk and a pub lunch.
Wednesday night
We normally meet after the club run on a Wednesday night for refreshments. Our current pub is the Green Man on the edge of Putney Heath, SW15 3NG.
