Well done to everyone who ran the London Marathon, the conditions were very challenging this year, it was uncomfortably hot just watching!
I’ve included all the Thames finishers I could find below. Gordon Pearce was first Thames man home in 2.43.49 and Sarah Randles was first Lady in 3.06.29. Great running both. There was a good grouping of Saltires finishing close to each other in the 3.02-3.06 range. Elsewhere Paddy Roddy made a strong 10,000m track debut, running 32.11 for 13th at the BUCS Championships and it was great to see the Masters continuing their great form at the BMAF Road Relays. Congratulations to Martin Shore, Simon Wurr, Charles Morris, Phill Sly, Nic Gould and Phill Tedd who took silver in the M35 race and to Simon Baines, Andy Howse, Paul Cheetham and Ben Reynolds who took bronze in the M45 race. Fantastic performances. A link to the full results is below and thanks to Ben Reynolds for the excellent race report (also below). I hope everyone has a great bank holiday weekend!
