Surrey League
The Surrey League series of cross country races is one of the highest quality leagues in the country. Thames Men and Ladies currently compete in Division 1 of their respective leagues and have both won the title in recent years. The league consists of four events across the season (usually in October, November, December or January and February) at venues in south-west London or Surrey.
Championships
The Club enters teams for all County level cross-country races and the flagship Southern and National Championships. In addition the Club contests County and National road relay championships. We have also entered teams and won the AAA marathon championship as part of the London Marathon.
Greenbelt Relay
Thames has switched to being a regular competitor in the Greenbelt Relay after many years of competing in the Welsh Castles Relay. We typically enter two mixed teams into this really enjoyable event (normally held in May).

Thames contains an eclectic mix of running tastes and members take part in very many different races throughout the year ranging from fell and mountain running, trail running, ultra events and road running. There are even those who like to run on the track…
