Gordon Masters the 10 miler

10 mile course

Gordon Pearce dominated the 10 mile handicap in Richmond Park – both winning the race outright and also taking handicap honours.  Mara Yamauchi and Rebekah Edgar came in together as fastest ladies.  Results below.

David Symons was second M50 over this classic ultra course running from Worthing to Eastbourne.  With skylarks for company most of the way it was a lovely way to spend 8 hours of running.

Paddock Wood Half Marathon

Gordon Pearce and James Chettle both had great runs for 1.11 and 1.12 respectively and 19th and 23rd spot in a high quality field.

Kingston Breakfast runs

With the clock change it was an early start for runners in the Kingston Breakfast Runs.  Rebekkah Edgar clocked 1.50 in the 16miles with Patrick Healey close behind.   Anri Cohen came 41st overall in the 8 mile in 57 minutes.

Masters success at Stormont

With a team gold, an individual gold for Ben Reynolds (M55), and three bronze medals for Martin Shore (M40) Paul Cheetham (M45) and Andy Weir (M50), our Thames team will be buying some extra baggage allowance for the flight home.

March Second Sunday 5

Fifteen Thames men and ladies ran our March SS5. Simon Gardner was first home for Thames in 5th spot with Hannah-Mai Flynn first lady home.  It was great to be back on the proper side of the brook, but my goodness was it muddy.  The gale force wind helped everyone up the Toastrack too.
