Richmond Half Marathon

Paul Cheetham had an excellent run for 3rd place in 1.12.54.  Anri Cohen, Andrea Stehlikova and Andrew Mcleod also ran well for 1.32, 1.39 and 1.47 respectively.

Congratulations to Ben Reynolds, Paul Cheetham, Andy Weir and Justin Reid for a great silver at the BMAF M45 Road Relay Championships with Paul running the second fastest leg of the day.

Thames leads the London Marathon (for the first mile)

Ten Thames men and ladies toed the line for this year’s London Marathon.  Stars of the show were Richard Ollington – who put in a 4.30 first mile to mix it with the leaders – before settling in for a 2.34 showing.  And Rebekah Edgar who who ran a brilliant first marathon to close in 3.05.  In all we had four runners in under three hours with other great performances from the evergreen Jerry Watson (3h 10) and Toby Pearson (2h 41) and Gordon Perace (2h 37).  Full draft results below.

Thames Towpath 10

Well done to Christian Pohl (1.19), Himani Gupta (1.21) and Jim Foster (1.26) who ran the Thames Towpath 10.  A lovely Spring day for it!

Gordon Masters the 10 miler

Gordon Pearce dominated the 10 mile handicap in Richmond Park – both winning the race outright and also taking handicap honours.  Mara Yamauchi and Rebekah Edgar came in together as fastest ladies.  Results below.
