49th Thames H&H vs Ranelagh Harriers Mob Match

On Saturday 4th February, Thames emerged victorious in our annual mob match with Ranelagh Harriers by the very narrow margin of 988 points to 1,001, scoring 31-a-side. This was our first victory in the contest since 2018 and leaves the series score with us leading by 28 wins to 21.

Ranelagh’s Ralph Street took the individual honours in a very fast time of 39:37. This was his fourth individual victory in the contest, having previously done so in 2014, 2015 and 2016. First home for Thames was our captain, James Hoad, in second (39:59). This secured James the men’s Long Distance Challenge title for the season. First lady home for Thames – and winner of the ladies’ Long Distance Challenge – was Claire Altmann in 31st (50:08).
