The 29th Parkland Relays took place on Wednesday 5th June in Richmond Park. In the men’s competition, Thames took took the team honours from Ful-on Tri and West4 Harriers. The first veteran team home was Wimbledon Windmilers. Fastest time of the day (14:33) was recorded on leg 4 by Thames’ incoming men’s captain, Eliot Nevill.
In the women’s competition, it was also a victory for Thames, this time from Ranelagh and Stragglers. In the veteran competition, Thames again took the honours. Fastest time of the day for the second year in a row was recorded by Stragglers’ Sarah Holt in 16:24 (on leg 1).
