On Wednesday 12th June, in very damp conditions, 110 teams drawn from a range of running clubs in south west London contested the 26th Parkland Relays. In the ladies’ competition, Thames regained the title they won in 2017, winning by over two minutes from Ful-on Tri and Clapham Chasers. West 4 Harriers provided the first veteran team home. Thames’ Natalie Seymour provided the fastest leg of the day in 16:22.
In the men’s competition, Thames also emerged victorious, again from Ful-on Tri and Clapham Chasers. The fastest leg of the day was recorded by the outgoing and incoming Thames captains, James McMullan and Richard Ollington, with 14:28.
